In May 1998, Project HEALTH created KidsCare as an in-house fundraising team. Frustrated by their programs’ constant struggles to secure sufficient funding, yet inspired by the potential of resources available, KidsCare volunteers designed a campaign to obtain cash and in-kind donations.
Beyond a basic desire to generate resources necessary for the successful functioning of Project HEALTH‘s programs, KidsCare is explicitly committed to redefining student group finance by seeking ever more innovative and sophisticated avenues for obtaining funding.
